Wednesday Jun 27, 2018
Wednesday Jun 27, 2018
On October 26, 2014 I posted the first episode of Geekery in General on DrivethruRPG. Here we are, 200 episodes later (more if you count the quickies and occassional mini-episodes). What better time is there than to discuss a game we've talked about many times on this show: Dungeons and Dragons!
To mark this momentous occassion Al talks with experienced co-host Chad Knight and special guest Alexis Smolensk from the Tao of D&D Blog (http://tao-dnd.blogspot.com/). We discuss many topics related to this legendary game from how how we got into it, the Satanic Panic, the Edition Wars, where the game has been and where we hope the game will go. So grab your dice, dust off that old copy of Keep on the Borderlands, and hunker down behind your DM screen as we discuss the world's most famous role playing game!

Geekery in General 197: Bloodstained-Curse of the Moon
Sunday May 27, 2018
Sunday May 27, 2018
Like many long time Castlevania fans Al is looking forward to the upcoming Ritual of the Night from Koji Igarashi, the genius behind Symphony of the Night. In the meantime we have Curse of the Moon to whet our appetite.
Correction: I mention in the description of one of the enemies that it was a solider who died in the demon castle war. This is incorrect. This is actually a description from one of the items a character can find.

Musically Challenged - Episode 62 - Chad's Birthday
Wednesday Apr 04, 2018
Wednesday Apr 04, 2018
Chad has leveled. That's right, gamers don't age they level. If that's the case Chad is leveled higher than most Gods in Dungeons and Dragons. With that kind of power comes a certain amount of freedom. That's right, Chad picked all 14songs this week. Then he forced Lou to do allthe research so he didn't have to. Then after all that he just talked about what each song means to him. Oh, yeah, also buckle up it's a big one. This hour and forty minute epic episode is worth it if Chad does say so himself.
